His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in early 2012 at 13 years old under the username "MrBeast6000" and his initial content included everything from "Let's Plays to "videos that estimated the wealth of other YouTubers." He became famous in the year 2017 after his "Counting To 100,000" video received tens of thousands of views in a matter of days. Donaldson had several of his childhood friends assist him in managing his growing YouTube channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's main YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July 2022.
